Kateřina Adamová (1977), Michaela Maupicová (1982) and Dana Sahánková (1984) are authors dealing mainly with drawing. Everyone treats her differently, and each one goes out in a different direction, facing another horizon and the new tomorrows. Kateřina Adamová to herself and to the reflection of her role in the world, Dana Sahánková over to herself (child, woman) to the myth (communion, education, order and chaos), Michaela Maupicová from herself to a kind of "culture message" stored in the dialectics of the relationship between the geometric network of ornaments and organically changing morphology (the unity of the dual principle of order).
The name of the exhibition " pOSTOCONCEpTUAL CONTRACEpTION" reflects for the present a characteristic "play with discourse". The curatorial-theoretical game, which is non-binding but at the same time (no longer so innocently) fixes the rules and mantines of conceptual constructions in the field of visual culture as well as creating the architecture of the "history of contemporary art" whose "validity" is medically supported and confirmed prematurely. The exhibition chose as an analogue to the "game principle of contemporary discourse" the field of pharmacology, namely that associated with the delay of conception. Contraception is, on the one hand, a means of comforting the consuming way of life, the comfort and the calmness of joyful sketchy timelessness. On the other hand, it has its known shady pages. Linguistic juggling with concepts and their contexts is today as well as a non-binding game with libido and escalation of pleasure. The exhibition does not imply this "playfulness" but does not even share it. She looks at her (herself) ironically. As a "development phase" in which the "contra-concept" itself becomes a newly defined "quality" within the "post-concept". Everything can be found and named in the works of three authors, whose roles in life are wider and more plural than can be seen by the biased, reductive ego of an ambitious theorist.
