Dear visitor,
welcome at the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava. The mission of our institution is to provide you with the access to art and at the same time keep it and protect for future generations. Please, pay attention to the following:
1. Visitor regulation modulates the operating conditions and is valid in exhibition and public spaces of the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava (onward as OGV). By entering the exhibition spaces visitor expresses his or her agreement with this visitor regulation.
2. The OGV visitor is obliged to abide with the visitor regulation and follow the instructions given by the employees of OGV. For the safety reasons the number of visitors present at one moment in the expositions could be limited.
3. The exhibiting spaces are generally open for public during opening hours, indicated on the OGV website (www.ogv.cz), on the OGV buildings, eventually in press and other media.
4. The entrance is paid in cash in Czech crowns, cashless payment is not yet possible. The entry into the exhibition spaces of OGV is possible after showing the valid ticket. The right for discount or free entry can be found at the cash desk or on the OGV website (www.ogv.cz).
5. The sale of tickets starts at the moment of opening the exhibition spaces and ends usually 30 minutes before the end of opening hours. Alternativa and IGLOO galleries can be visited until 15 minutes before the end of opening hours. Visitors have to leave the gallery until the time when the gallery closes.
6. Before entering the exhibition spaces the visitors are obliged to leave all the objects sized more than 30 x 40 cm or longer than 40 cm in the dressing room, with the exception of compensatory facilitation. The exhibition halls can be entered with a handback or overhand valise. Clothes carried across the arm have to be put aside in the dressing room. Gallery employees are not responsible for valuable objects deposited inside the luggage or clothes, visitor can carry them with.
7. Visitor acknowledges that his or her movement can be recorded by the camera system, installed to protect the exhibition spaces and exhibits.
8. It is forbidden to touch the exhibits, frames, stands and showcases and come closer to them more than 30 cm. Visitors can touch only exhibits that are indicated in this manner.
9. It is forbidden to enter the exhibition spaces with guns and animals, with the exception for guide dogs accompanying blind people.
10. Smoking and manipulating with open fire is forbidden in all the OGV objects.
11. Visitors should not disturb others with their behaviour. It is forbidden to eat and drink in exhibition spaces.
12. Concerts, lectures and another cultural events that take place in OGV are organized on the basis of an agreement and the co-organizer respects the operational and security rules of OGV.
13. A legal guardian is responsible for children during the whole period of visiting OGV.
14. Pedagogues visiting the expositions and another accompanying programs of the gallery with their students are not relieved of responsibility for these pupils. Active cooperation of the pedagogical guidance and their heightened oversight of the pupils is thus necessary.
15. Photographing the exhibited artworks in exhibition spaces of the gallery is allowed exclusively for personal needs, and only without the use of flash, tripod, or selfie-stick, if not indicated differently in chosen spaces.
16. People drunk, in considerably dirty clothes and those that could by their behaviour damage the exhibited artworks or endanger the security of other visitors, are not allowed to exhibition spaces, eventually could be expelled from them. In case of disobligingness of the visitor to follow the instructions of the OGV employees, assistance of police of the Czech Republic will be demanded (§ 13, zák. č. 283/91 Sb.).
17. In case the visitor inflicts damage to OGV by violating this visitor rule or by other inadequate activity, the written record will be made toghether with him or her. In case of disobligingness from the side of visitor to approve his or her identity, the assistance of the police of the Czech Republic will be demanded (§ 13, zák. č. 283/91 Sb.). The extent, height and means of compensation will be set according to the given OGV rules and reclaimed from the visitor in a legal way.
18. Visitor takes into account that during the events organized under the auspices of OGV, he or she could be recorded by means of audiovisual documentation (photographs, video, audio). He or she can express the disapproval to the gallery employee that is making the documentation or acquire information at the e-mail ogv@ogv.cz.
19. OGV visitors can exert their wishes, praises, suggestions or complaints in the written way in the visitor book, via the form on the OGV website (www.ogv.cz), personally or telephonically in OGV, Komenského 10, Jihlava, phone: +420 567 301 680.
20. The visitor is obliged to comply with all current legal regulations governing health security during the Covid-19 pandemic and to follow the instructions of the gallery staff in this regard.
This visitor rule takes effect from: May 11, 2020
