Exploring the relationship of man to nature. Admiration, humility and desire for harmony. The need to own, organize and sort out. The natural process becomes a collector's item, the subject of scientific research, or a co-author and narrator of the story.
How else to approach the presentation of art at this troubled time than with an open head? Painter František Filipi, together with musician David Baránek and invited colleagues Tomáš Chalupský and Filip Mond, prepared a unique project for the Experimental dramaturgy ?Za Bukem? (Behind The Beech) in the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava, connecting sound and image. They did not approach the connection between sound and image, as might be expected, literally but procedurally: Sound was sometimes created on the basis of a verbal description of the expected image, looking forward to a visual perception, or in direct response to a new phase of the image.
Element Glass. Under this name, the Vysočina Museum Třebíč, in cooperation with partners in South Bohemia and Lower Austria, has prepared a unique project dedicated to the history and present of local glass production. From 18 February 2021 to 16 May 2021, the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava will host the exhibition, which will present an installation of authorial work by glass artists, design and production, as well as the work of students from specialized secondary schools. Installed objects include both clear and cut hollow glass, lighting fixtures, or unique fused sculptures.
